About Day Care at Samford Pet Resort

Samford Pet Resort provides a fun, safe and clean environment for your dog/Cat to socialize, exercises and plays.

Day care is a fantastic way to work on your puppy’s socialization skills under the watchful eye of fully trained staff.  We prevent boredom and hopefully decrease the likelihood of separation anxiety when left alone at home.

While your pet is at Samford Pet Resort they will be placed in a fully fenced and supervised play area that includes toys, play equipment and endless cuddles during playtime. They also have their day care rooms for time-out, lunch and sleep time.

Please Note

• That this service is not available with the use of the resorts van service.
• That this service is not available during school holidays or public holidays.

Requirements for doggie day care

All animals need to be desexed or neutered (unless under six months of age) and have a minimum of a C5 vaccination.

Doggy Day Care is $22.50 per day, which includes all food, bedding, toys and endless cuddles and playtime.  After your pets tenth visit you will receive either a complementary hydro-bath or your pet’s next doggy day care stay free. For cat prices please enquire within.

We reserve the right to refuse entry to undesexed pets. For more information please call the office.

Should you pet need vet treatment while staying at SPR

Should your pet need vet treatment during your pets stay at our resort we will.

• Try to contact you on the contact numbers that you have left( it is your responsibility to leave us contacts numbers)
• Should we be unable to contact you we will make the decision in the best interest for the pet acting with in the terms of the boarding contract.
• The pet will be taken to the vet of SPR choice unless told and noted by the client on the bottom of the boarding contract to take to a specific vet.
• All vets bills will be required to be paid by the pet’s owner as per the contract of boarding.
• Should your pet be taken to SPR’s choice of vet a fee will be charged for transport and time spent at vet. (Est. from - $40.00 transport, $25.00 labour, $15.00 van sterilisation. After hr or public holidays will incur a sure charge)
• Should you request to have your pet taken to a vet of your choice for treatment Samford Pet resort will charge a cost for transport starting at (cost depends on vet location and time spent at vet) (Est. from - $40.00 transport, $25.00 labour, $15.00 van sterilisation. After hr or public holidays will incur a sure charge)
• It is at the discretion for SPR to have the vet come to the resort to treat the pet and vet travel is to be paid by Their owner as per boarding contract.
